Friends, as you can imagine, signing up to raise ten grand is rather daunting. Nevertheless, I’m convinced that the monies raised can and will be used by God to do wonderful things in this world.

Commenting on the mentality of the world today, my pastor recently stated in a sermon that “it is in vogue to despair”. When we see the suffering, poverty, war, crime, disease, and all the other wrongs in the world, it can be hard to see the right. Yet, thanks to God, we can make a difference in this world, ministering to both the body and soul of those hurt and in need.

If you would like to support me in this effort, consider the following :

• Pray for me during the days and weeks leading up to the tour. Pray that the funds required can be raised. Pray that I may gain the physical endurance and strength that I will need. Pray that I develop a greater understanding and heart for the problem of poverty and suffering in this world.
